Kaaz Construction Company was founded in 1931, as a sole proprietorship by Julius E. Kaaz, Jr. The Business was Incorporated as Julius Kaaz Construction Co., Inc. in 1959. J. David Kaaz, son of Julius, served as president of the corporation until 1998. David’s oldest son, Steve moved into the role of President following his father’s retirement, continuing a legacy of quality and integrity.

Our continued success can be directly attributed to - strong leadership, our goal for total customer satisfaction, and our endless quest for excellence. Today we are proud to share with our customers, a well organized team of men and women offering over 90 years of combined general contracting and construction management experience, and well over 120 years of combined experience in our job superintendents.

Specializing in commercial and industrial building, subdivision development, concrete and general contracting on heavy highway work in the Kansas City and surrounding areas; we have completed projects ranging in size to $6.0 million. Kaaz Construction is primarily a commercial building contractor with over 40% of our business consisting of new construction and/or remodeling as a general contractor. We. provide construction management services for approximately 25% of our customers, with the remaining work obtained through the competitive Bidding Process. 

Previous projects include banks, churches, schools, hospital renovations, subdivision development, and state highway work. Current projects include KCI Temporary Walkways; The Guidance Center, Missouri Highway 152, Ft. Leavenworth Containment, and the Kansas National Guard Security Fencing. Our dedication to quality, professionalism and service has earned Kaaz Construction Company an excellent bonding rating from St Paul, and a Dunn & Bradstreet 3A2 rating as of January1, 2004.
